Ken Manning has always loved to create. Years of working with award winning Hot House Design Studio; innovators of metal furniture and home accessories, allowed Ken an outlet for creating and a base for understanding stainless steel production. In 2003, Ken Manning went into business for himself installing commercial kitchen equipment in some of Edmonton’s finest restaurants and major commercial sites around Alberta as Pulse Metalworks. Growing his business from the ground up and using his years of experience, Ken’s focus on excellent customer service and detailed craftmanship enabled Pulse Metalworks’ reputation and scope of work to expand into areas of British Columbia such as Vancouver, Kelowna and Prince George as well as Calgary and Fort McMurray in Alberta and Saskatoon and Biggar in Saskatchewan. Now a six man operation, Pulse Metalworks Ltd. has multiple crews that travel all over Western Canada installing new kitchens and offering repair to well known restaurants including Cactus Club Cafe, Earls, Joey and Milestones. Other major kitchen renovations in Pulse Metalworks Ltd.’s portfolio include prisons, health care facilities, churches and universities. In 2014, Pulse Metalworks Ltd. increased manufacturing size and volume capability when they moved into a 4,100sqft fabrication shop located at 14509 118 avenue, in the heart of Edmonton.
